Windows versions supported for Aequos Engage version 2.0.0.0

Aequos Engage 2.0.0.0 will operate on all versions of Windows that support version 2.0 of the Microsoft .NET Framework. This includes Windows 98, Windows Millennium Edition (ME), Windows XP and Windows Vista.

The latest service packs and critical updates should always be installed to ensure maximum compatibility.

Windows versions supported for Aequos Engage version 1.0.0.9

Aequos Engage 1.0.0.9 will operate on all versions of Windows that support version 1.1 of the Microsoft .NET Framework. This includes Windows 98, Windows Millennium Edition (ME), Windows NT 4.0 (NT 4.0 Terminal Server is not supported), Windows XP and Windows Vista.

The latest service packs and critical updates should always be installed to ensure maximum compatibility.

Software Dependencies for Aequos Engage version 2.0.0.0

Aequos Engage 2.0.0.0 requires version 2.0 of the Microsoft .NET Framework to operate. This must be installed prior to installing Aequos Engage. A copy of the Microsoft .NET Framework redistributable is available for download directly from Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=0856EACB-4362-4B0D-8EDD-AAB15C5E04F5&displaylang=en)

In order for the Microsoft .NET Framework to operate correctly, Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 (or later) and Microsoft Data Access Components 2.8 (or later) are required to be installed. These components are preinstalled on Windows machines.

All other software dependencies are built into the Aequos Engage installation (MSI) file.

Software Dependencies for Aequos Engage version 1.0.0.9

Aequos Engage 1.0.0.9 requires version 1.1 of the Microsoft .NET Framework to operate. This must be installed prior to installing Aequos Engage. In order for the Microsoft .NET Framework to operate correctly, Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 (or later) and Microsoft Data Access Components 2.6 (or later) are required to be installed. These components are preinstalled on Windows machines.

In order to produce and export reports Microsoft Office 2000 (or later) is required.

All other software dependencies are built into the Aequos Engage installation (MSI) file.

Internet Web Browsers supported

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 or later is required by the Microsoft .NET Framework to operate correctly.

Aequos Engage will work alongside any other browsers, such as Firefox or Opera, and is not affected by Internet Browser pop-up blockers and utility toolbars.

Internet Connectivity required

An Internet connection must be available to work online or register for working offline.

If the client’s machine uses a dial up connection or a broadband connection that is not always connected, the client may be required to manually connect to the Internet by opening an Internet Browser window before launching Aequos Engage.

Firewall/Proxy settings

If your network uses a proxy server or a redirected port for HTTP traffic, this can be reconfigured in Aequos Engage in the Connection Options screen. You may need to consult your I.T. team to modify these settings.

Computer Security

Due to Aequos Engage being a bespoke Windows application, and not an application that is hosted with an Internet Browser, Internet based spyware, trojans, malware or other software viruses will not affect the direct operation of Aequos Engage.
